Commented by a certified guide, the day cruise is the perfect occasion to learn more about the city of Montréal or Québec, while admiring urban sceneries that can only be seen from the St. Lawrence River. In the summer, up to 3 departures per day are offered to visitors.
As of 7 p.m., passengers admire the sunset on the metropolis or capital, both illuminated as soon as the night falls. To keep warm, customers can enjoy a snack, sip on a drink or talk on one of the interior decks. Once the DJ is ready, they can also dance under the stars until 11 p.m.
In Montréal, the Cavalier Maxim’s route allows cruisers to observe downtown, the bustling port, La Ronde, the Olympic Stadium, as well as the beginning of the green Îles-de-Boucherville National Park. Québec’s Louis Jolliet takes passengers on a historical journey where they can admire the Cap Diamant, majestic Château Frontenac, bridges, Montmorency Falls and peaceful Île d’Orléans.
Croisières AML
For over 40 years, the family business has been showcasing the unique sceneries and the fauna and flora of the Saint Lawrence River. Its many boats with departures from Montréal, Québec, Tadoussac, Rivière-du-Loup and Baie-Sainte-Catherine set sail for recreational, gastronomic and whale watching cruises. Grand river cruises between Montréal and Québec or even up to Charlevoix allow customers to enjoy the maritime sceneries in a package, with or without night stays. The Saguenay Fjord, considered a natural beauty, unveils its charms to passengers during a three-hour cruise, and a sea plane adventure is now available to customers.
