Mile End hipsters have recently seen a new addition to their list of must-visit restaurants. This Mediterranean resto-bar on Boulevard Saint-Laurent specializes in hummus, a delicious Middle-Eastern chickpea dip that comes here in several varieties, serving as the base of a complete, protein-rich meal. Salads, sandwiches and other exotic specialities can be savoured in the dining room or as take-out. Birona also serves 11 beers for the ideal accompaniment. Since opening its doors in September 2016, this restaurant has received rave reviews, including from La Presse, Vita Daily, Rouge FM and many others.
