The Waring House
The main building of this property was originally a farmhouse built in the 19th century by the Waring family. Today, it is a hotel with 49 spacious guest rooms with a Victorian décor, spread across five buildings. It also boasts two gourmet restaurants: Amelia’s Garden, which specializes in a seasonally-inspired regional cuisine with refined breakfast to dinner menus, and the The Barley Room, a friendly pub where patrons can savour a more casual cuisine while enjoying live folk, jazz and blues music. The Waring House is also a cookery school, a place of residence for artists, a caterer, and a complete, picturesque establishment for wedding celebrations.
