Every summer for now over 30 years, hot-air balloons have been invading the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu sky! Come and watch the enormous hot-air balloons float by while enjoying musical performances by internationally renowned musicians at the International Balloon Festival, from August 13 to 21, 2016.

There is no shortage of things to do at this festival. In addition to the biggest inflatable games park in the world, little ones can enjoy rides and the foamy fun obstacle course. Throughout the site, visitors can attend stand-up comedy shows and theatrical pieces and nibble on a picnic in the relaxation areas.

Once evening falls, attention turns to the four stages, where local and international artists get the crowd moving and grooving. From rock to pop, there’s something for everyone. This year, artists such as Metric, Koriass, Ariane Moffatt, Dumas, Les Cowboys Fringants, Brett Kissel and many more will take to the stage. 

International Balloon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur Richelieu

This internationally-renowned festival features the largest collection of hot-air balloons in the country, and is fun for all they family. Each year, it brings an average of 450 000 visitors to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
