Oasis Rock ‘n’ Roll Montreal Marathon
Since 1998, le Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon has been giving the running world a spring in its step across various cities throughout the globe. Their events combine running, travel and entertainment for the participants and spectators alike. From the moment the starting pistol fires to when they cross the finish line, runners are kept going by a team of energetic volunteers and musical acts dotted along the route. To round off the event, participants are invited to have fun at the “finish line festival” with entertainment provided by some renowned musical artists.
- The Run: A distance for everyone! Rock ‘n’ Roll Montreal features a marathon, half-marathon, 10K, 5K and 1K, livened up with bands playing along the course!
- The Bands: The 2016 Finish Line Festival headliner is Our Lady Peace! Best known for their song “Somewhere Out There.”
- The Causes: Since 1998, Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon runners have raised more than $310 million for such charities as the Edith Sanford Breast Center, The John Volken Foundation, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Tel-jeunes, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the Next Step Foundation

Limitations: 1 coupon per person. May buy 7 more as gifts. 1 coupon per person.
Other conditions: Minimum age requirements: 8 years for the 5K run, 10 years for the 10K run, 12 years for the half-marathon and 18 years for the marathon. Participants under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Non-transferable, no refunds and cannot be exchanged for an event on another date. It is forbidden to sell your race number. Race numbers must be worn throughout the race. No coaches, bikes, in-line skates, skateboards or baby joggers allowed on the course. Overall winners will not qualify for their age group category awards. Valid for the option purchased only. See the rules that apply to all deals.

Registration: Required and subject to availability. To register for the 5K and 10K races, have your coupon ready and email rnrmontreal@competitorgroup.com by September 18. After this date, you can register in person at the designated counter at the Expo. To register for the half-marathon or marathon up to September 18, have your coupon ready, head to this page, enter your information and the option you purchased, type your Groupon code in the "Promotion Code" field at the "Review Cart" stage and mention Groupon. After September 18, you can register in person at the designated counter at the Expo. Everyone who registers must consult this site to collect their bibs during the Expo.
