At O.Noir, awake your senses to a unique experience by savouring gourmet dishes in complete darkness.

The dinner includes:

• One choice of appetizer per person
• One choice of entree per person
• One tea or coffee per person
  

Guided by a visually impaired member of the service team, clients take their seat in the pitch-black dining room to savour skillfully prepared, unique creations.

As soon as the appetizer arrives, clients engage all of their senses, except for sight, and focus on the dish subtle flavours that take them to a whole new level. For example, they are pleasantly surprised by the Gin and pink pepper trout, organic salmon gravlax, or duck confit rillette with blueberry and shallot marmalade.

This French-style culinary journey continues with the entree featuring shrimps, beef, Cornouaille chicken, lacquered pork, fish or a vegetarian speciality. Patrons savor their main dish with its respective side dish for a complete gourmet experience.

At the end of the meal, guests enjoy their last minutes in darkness sipping tea of coffee before they get their sight back.

For eight years, this restaurant in downtown Montréal has been accomplishing a socially conscious project by proposing a creative cuisine with gastronomic specialties. In complete darkness, patrons experience blindness for the time of a meal, guided by a team of visually-impaired waiters who entered the job market thanks to this restaurant.
