You don’t need to be a circus artist to fly on a trapeze. Try it out at Trapezium!

The deal:

• $39.99 for a flying trapeze class for two (up to a $80 value)

Under the supervision of experienced instructors, students at Trapezium tone their arm muscles and learn to safely open their wings during a two-hour flying-trapeze class.

Upon their arrival, the group warms up for 15 minutes before the class and meets the trainers who explain trapeze basics and demonstrate how to use the equipment. A safety net assuages the worries of harnessed tumblers by providing soft landings. Students learn how to master the elementary techniques of “fly” and “catch,” perform knee hangs, and attempt catch transfers.

Each participant takes off from the platform and instructors are trained to help overcome fear of heights. Advanced participants can also get flying trapeze classes to try new positions and improve their skills.

Thursday: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
